I have Poser 4 installed on 2 machines, a desktop computer and a laptop. Last time I used Poser on the laptop was several months ago. Today I tried to open it and the central window with the figure was not there!!! I uninstalled and reinstalled the program a couple of times but could not get the window to open, even when I asked it to display existing poser files from previous work.
The same program still works fine on my desktop, but I need it on the laptop. Any suggestions?

Go to your preferences and tell it to restart using manufacturer's specifications (or something to that effect). That should do the trick.
