About the Store
Who owns the PoserPros store?
The
PoserPros store was acquired by DAZ Productions in February of 2005.

Who can submit products to the store?
Anyone can submit their original creations to the
PoserPros for consideration. Submission does not guarantee your products will be accepted into the store. The link for submitting your item can be found at the top of the

What software are you using to run the store?
The software running the
PoserPros store was written custom developed just for
PoserPros. The core of our membership model is the
PhpBB forum software. We have not only customized our version of the
PhpBB forums, but also added many ten of thousands of lines of
PHP code around it in the form of our front page, gallery, store, chat, administrative areas and more.
Have the products in the store been tested?
Yes.
PoserPros has testers on staff who review every item submitted with a 30+ point
StoreItemTestingChecklist to ensure it performs as promised. If an item does not pass our testing proceedures, we work with the merchant to try to resolve all issues found with their product.
What is the license for the items in the PoserPros store?

Browsing the Store
How can I find all the products by a specific merchant?
You can see a listing of all the products by a specific merchant by looking for the dropdown menu titled "Our Merchants" on the
StoreFrontPage. Select the merchant you are interested in and press the "Go" button beside the dropdown menu.
What is the ProClub?
The
PoserPros ProClub is a group of
PoserPros merchants who work in a collaborative development effort to bring small packages of very affordable products to the Poser market. The developers coordinate their efforts to support each other's products. The product filesize is restricted and the price of every product is always $2.49.
How do I join the ProClub to buy products?
You don't! There is no membership fee. Anyone can buy as many products as they wish at the fixed price of $2.49.
How do I join the ProClub as a developer?
The
PoserPros ProClub is a closed development group of Poser merchants. Sometimes we do look to expand the
ProClub merchant group, so if you are interested in joining, send an email to
store@poserpros.com with your request.
How do you calculate the items in the Best Sellers tab?
The Best Sellers tab displays items sorted based on their total number of sales for all time.
How do you calculate the items in the What's Hot Now tab?
The What's Hot Now tab displays items sorted based on their total number of sales over the last 30 days.
What is the "Average Customer Rating" I see for some of the products?
Basically, it is the average rating, from one to five stars, that previous purchasers of the product have given to it. See the
AverageCustomerRating page for more details.
Making a Purchase
What payment methods do you support?
Our store currently supports payments via all major credit cards. We accept payment via
PayPal (both automatic cart payment and manual payments sent to:
store@poserpros.com). Paypal accepts most major credit cards, but requires you to sign up for an account through their site. We also accept money orders sent via standard mail.
How do I use a gift certificate when making a purchase?
After adding products to your shopping cart and looking at the shopping cart screen, you will see an option below your items called "Use Gift Certificates?". Select this option and then press the "Update Cart" button. Your shopping cart total will now reflect your usage of your gift certificates.
How do I use my InStoreCredit when making a purchase?
After adding products to your shopping cart and looking at the shopping cart screen, if you have
InStoreCredit available, you will see an option below your items called "Use Instore Credit?". Select this option and then press the "Update Cart" button. Your shopping cart total will now reflect your usage of your
InStoreCredit.
Can I make a purchase without being a member or logging in?
No. You must be a member of
PoserPros (signing up is free!) and you must be logged in. We have to track your purchases for you to allow you to download them.
How do I purchase a my cart as a gift for someone else?
First, fill your cart with whatever store items you wish to purchase as a gift. At the bottom of the shopping cart is a text entry field for you to enter the
PoserPros username of the member you wish to purchase the gift for. Enter their name in the text entry field.
After your purchase, you will receive an invoice for your purchase. Your gift recipient will also receive a notice about their gift, however there will be no pricing information on thier email.
How do I purchase a gift certificate for someone else?
When viewing your shopping cart, just below any items in the cart is a field where you can enter the amount for the gift certificate. If blank or zero, then no gift certificate will be included in your order.
Since you probably intend to purchase the gift certificate for someone else, be sure to enter their name in the field at the bottom of the cart to purchase the cart as a gift for that user. Also see the preceeding question for more info on purchasing gifts.
How does the PoserPros Buy One Get One Free Sale work?
Occasionally,
PoserPros runs a Buy One Get One Free sale. Here is how this special sale works ... For every regular store item you buy (excluding
ProClub items), you can select an item from our Freebie list! Buy five products, get five freebies! Buy 10 items get 10 Freebie choices! There is no limit! And these are not just any freebies, they are actual
PoserPros store products that our merchants are allowing us to just give away for free as their way of saying thank you to you!
How does this work, you ask? It's really very simple. Before you buy anything, you can review the Freebie items on the "Freebie" tab in the store. Then, make your purchase as normal, but do not add your Freebie choices to the shopping cart. For every regular store item you purchase, even items on sale but excluding
ProClub items, you are given a credit for one Freebie selection. After your purchase is complete, you may go to the "My Freebies" link on the main store page to select and download your Freebies. See how simple that is!
After the Purchase
How to I download my purchase?
Look at the top right of the
StoreFrontPage for the link called My Purchases. That page will list all of your purchases to date. For each product, the individual files that make up the product are listed, and can be downloaded by clicking on them.
I do not see any download links, just a "Request Reset" link? How can I download my files?
After your purchase, you have a limit of 3 downloads per file in the product and a 72 hour limit. Once either of these limits is reached, you will have to send an email to the store admins to request a reset of your downloads. Clicking on the link that says "Request Reset" on your download page is the easiest way, because it automatically builds a subject in the email that contains all the information we need to reset your purchase.
How can I look at an invoice for a pending order that I have not yet paid for?
If you go to the
StoreFrontPage and look at the top right, you should see a link called "My Pending Orders". This page will display all orders that you have placed that have not yet been paid for. There will be a link next to each pending order letting you view a detail of the invoice, with instructions on how to complete your order.
What if I am not happy with my purchase? Do you offer refunds?
First, send an email to
support@poserpros.com and tell us about your purchase and why you are not happy with it. We will involve the merchant in the discussions and try to resolve the situation to everyone's satisfaction. If there is a problem with the product, the product will be corrected as soon as possible. If no resolution can be reached, your money will be refunded and you will be asked to destroy any copies of the product.
Will download accelerators work with your download system?
Yes! We have designed our store product download security system so that download accerators do work with it. We provide you with a direct http link to your product for download. However, the link is only temporary and is unique for each download attempt.
