Here are the testing points used to test items uploaded to the PoserPros store.
Installation Checklist
- Archive begins at the Poser Runtime folder
- Includes standard PoserPros StoreItemEULA
- A complete Readme file is included
- The correct product contents are included
General Quality Checklist
- Sharp edges render correctly with no shadowing artifacts
- Renders well under default lights
- No noticeable artifacts when rendering
- There are named material groups
- Single sided polygons face in right direction
- There are efficient material groups
- Hair models fit scalp of intended model well
- Hair textures cover model well and look natural
- Texture template is included
- Texture template areas are properly labeled
- Library files externally reference an OBJ in the geometries folder
- Maps load correctly
- The file path for textures is correct
- MAT files are included for texture changes
- Poser 4 MAT file references BUM file for bump map
- Pro Pack and Poser 5 MAT file references JPG for bump map
- Models are properly scaled with other Poser figures
- Joint limits are properly set
- Characters have descriptive names
- Poses are properly named
- Poses have no morphs saved, or the morphs are saved as alternate pose
- Poses place character properly (i.e. feet on floor, etc.)
- RSR thumbnails are included
- PNG thumbnails are included (not required)
- MAT pose file is included to restore to default settings
- Skin textures are as seamless as possible in appropriate places
- Clothing models fit well with no poke-through
- Version number is set to 4.01, or gives no error message when loading
- If this is a conforming model, it should conform
