PoserPros is a free membership gathering of artists who take development for Poser seriously. We are based on an "Open Workshop/Roundtable" model, where known experts in Poser and other 3d applications teach and answer questions in collaboration with our members. Members of our open International community come from many different backgrounds, and are linked by our desire to take Poser development to a higher level. Our small but growing community is founded around a belief that open communications, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere fosters the most creativity and will allow the artists in our community to reach their fullest potential. ...what have You learned today? Q. Where is the great big TOS? A. You are reading it. Q. What sort of conduct is totally unacceptable? A. Trading in Warez of any sort on this site is grounds for banning. Interfering with the normal day to day operations of this site's software, hardware, or internet connection are totally unacceptable and are grounds for immediate banning. Q. What sort of images are totally unacceptable? A. No hardcore pornography - mild artistic nudity is acceptable. No softcore or hardcore child pornography (no nudity of those who appear under 18 please) Q. Well, what are the rest of the rules? A. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do unto others too much though, they are very likely to do that and more unto you, if you understand our meaning! Q. Will my membership or personal information be sold to mailing lists? A. Never. Q. Will my copyright to works posted here remain my own intellectual property? A. Yes. Q. I have noticed that in the Texture Resouce Club area, we are asked to release the textures royalty free for others to use in commercial development if they so desire. I would like to donate some textures, but do not wish them used royalty free or in commercial work. May I still post them? A. Please post them instead then to the Free Stuff Club, not the Texture Resouce Club area. We would like to reserve the Texture Resouce Club for artists willing to allow their textures to be used royalty free by fellow developers. Q. I see lots of names I am familiar with here. Who really owns this site? A. PoserPros was acquired by DAZ Productions in February 2005. Q. Do I need to read this every day? Will there be lots of changes all the time? A. Sometimes we may make slight modifications or changes due to our community growth and evolution as needed. If so, you will be notified by an announcement to please re-read this post. Q.
