The Declaration Section of a Poser PZ3, CR2?, HR2?, LT2?, CM2? or PP2? file includes both functions of Actor Predeclaration and Geometry Loading.

The section is seen in a Poser file after the figureResFile? line but before the second figureResFile line (if any) or before the second appearance of an already-declared actor?, prop?, light?, camera?, or deformer? (if the second figureResFile line is left out.

In this section all actors, props, and other sundries which are loaded by the file are declared and their geometry is loaded up. This is distinct from the definition? section where parametres are set for the object.
