Poser 4 MAT Pose files: MAT Pose files are pose files that set the materials characteristics of an item in the Poser document window. They are generally used to set the same paramiters as can be set in the 'Surface Materials' dialogue box (also known as the 'materials editor'). Thus they can be used to set such things as map references (texture, bump, transparency) , colours (Object, Highlight, Ambient, Reflective), highlight size, transparency, etc. MAT Poses can not be saved directly from Poser 4 interface. They can be made using a text editor, or in various third partie utilites, e.g. the free MAT Pose Edit?.
