| | Poser Markup is the language which PZ3, CR2?, PP2?, and other Poser content files use to define the posability, mosition and rotation, and other details about a Poser model as distinct from the geometry itself.
Poser markup is generally broken into various sections, and these divisions can be seen from differeing perspectives. For instance, in CR2s?, PP2s?, and PZ3s? there's generally a distinct Geometry Declaration section followed by an Actor Definition section.
Poser Markup is delimited into blocks, which are demarked by curly brackets. It is, however, a very patchy markup language, and so even this concept has exceptions (for instance, ERC blocks are not curly-bracket delimited).
Poser Markup appears similar to a programming language, but it is not generally seen as such because it does not describe a process but, rather, a static definition. However, complex ERC combinations can create simple algorithmic functionality, blurring this line somewhat.
